Leakage of poisonous gas stopped in Visakhapatnam

A case of gas leakage has come to light in a pharma company in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is being told that there has been a leakage of dangerous poisonous gas from Visakha LG Polymer Company located in RR Venkatapuram. 3000 people rescued, 5 died.

A case of gas leakage has come to light in a pharma company in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This incident happened on Thursday morning. After this there is an atmosphere of tension in the entire city. The condition is still not under control. The local administration and the Navy have evacuated the villages near the factory.

It is being told that there has been a leakage of dangerous poisonous gas from Visakha LG Polymer Company located in RR Venkatapuram. Due to this poisonous gas, three kilometres of the factory are affected. At the moment, five villages were evacuated. Hundreds of people are reaching the hospital with headaches, vomiting and difficulty in breathing.

Control found on leakage till 10 o'clock

The leak has been overcome after hours of hard work. With this, 3 thousand people have been rescued from around the factory. Currently 170 people have been admitted to the hospital. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has also left for Visakhapatnam.

5 dead, 20 critical

Five people have died in a government hospital, while the condition of 20 people is said to be critical. It consists mostly of elders and children. It is being told that 150-170 people have been admitted to the government hospital. Apart from this, many people have also been admitted to the private hospital in Gopalapuram. 1500-2000 beds have been arranged.

PVC or Sterne Gas Leakage

Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shrijna Gummalla said that according to the initial report PVC or stearne gas leak has occurred. The leak started at 2.30 am. Hundreds of people came in the grip of gas leak and many people fainted, while some people are having trouble breathing.

However, the real cause of the gas leakage is not yet known. Currently, Visakhapatnam District Magistrate V Vinay Chand has reached and is monitoring the situation. He says that the condition was brought under control within two hours. Some people are having difficulty in breathing, they are being given oxygen support.
