Thousands of migrant laborers trapped in lockdown continue to walk to their homes. On Friday, a freight train in Aurangabad, Maharashtra crushed 16 workers on the track.

A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Here a freight train crushed the migrant laborers on the rail tracks. This accident has taken place near the Jalna railway line of Aurangabad, in which 16 laborers have been killed and many other workers are said to be injured. The accident took place on the Aurangabad-Jalna railway line around 6.30 am on Friday.
All these migrant laborers were walking to their home in Chhattisgarh, during which this accident happened. After the incident, local administration and railway officials have reached the spot.
The Chief Public Relations Officer of South Central Railway says that an accident has taken place near Karmad in Aurangabad, where an empty coach of the goods train has gone over some people. RPF and local police are present on the spot.
Recently, the workers were allowed to be sent back to their state by the Central Government. After which the state governments arranged buses and called their laborers. Apart from this, special labor trains have also been run by the Railways, which are transporting the laborers to their state.
When the lockdown was first announced, since then lakhs of workers were stuck where they were. Workers involved in food, employment concerns went towards their villages on foot, even before some migrant laborers lost their lives in some accident on the way.
It is important to note that special labor train is being run in different parts of the country on the recommendation made by the state governments. During this period, the list given by the state governments is being allowed to travel on the train.
